Hey people, a quick note summarizing my experience and philosophy around NoFap:

It could be looked at as an approach to personal development that benefits your life in a fundamental way- without the need to pin down the perfect philosophy or the perfect morning routine.

By abstaining from release for long periods, you allow energy to flow in your body in a freer way- which opens doors to better physical fitness, clarity of thought, and creativity. You also reinforce your ability to redirect your focus to important tasks when needed, which is very useful when you have a lot on your plate, so to speak.

Furthermore, it actually does not diminish your interest in the opposite sex- you actually have a richer experience and can see more of other people as a consequence.

I would be curious to hear others' experiences and if they align with this. Cheers.

Indulging in adult material is like Adam biting the fruit in the garden of Eden- it's inviting, but leads to untold misery.

In the bible, Adam bit the fruit after Eve, and this is significant because you are Adam, and you do not have to bite the fruit.

Adam had a choice, as each man does when he is faced with temptation, and he made the wrong one. Stay pointed in the right direction by making the right choice each time, and make sure to reach out if you need support,

Having played a lot of RPG games in my time, I've often thought about how life is like a video game, and started a forum post about this a few years ago in order to provide a helpful way for gamers to look at life, in order to do well and enjoy real life: https://www.inspirationparadise.org/forum/success/life-a-first-person-virtual-reality-massively-multiplayer-role-playing-game

While thinking about this, I've always kept thinking about how characters in games appear to be fearless. But today I've realise something that I hadn't thought of before...

Regarding men, I believe that the courage of a video game character to do amazing / scary things without hesitation is what testosterone does to a man in real life as he builds testosterone.

In this framework I say that God is the one 'playing' all of us, and that our essential identity is actually Him, when we strip our character (ego) away. This is similar to…
