I’ve had sugar addiction for as long as I can remember- I’d have sugar in my tea as a child, and sugary breakfast cereal before school every morning- how I still have my teeth I don’t know!!
I already knew that I was stuck in a trap of using food to numb my emotions while I was living with my parents, but after I moved out- it became *super* clear, and a long, seriously painful recovery process was underwent.
After lots of research and experience, focusing on how what I eat affects my energy-levels, I came to a conviction that junk food is bad for me and I don’t want to ever eat it again, and whole foods are actually good for me and I only ever want to eat foods that don’t have ingredient lists.
